Shaquille nervously contacted me about getting her maternity photos done whilst I was up in Port Douglas photographing a wedding. It was her second pregnancy and she informed me she was very camera shy and not photogenic. After coffee and a chit chat I took Shaquille and her family out to a beautiful creek location just north of Mossman and we wandered through the rainforest with shards of sunlight beaming down spotlighting giant fern leaves and wandering tree roots. I absolutely loved photographing Shaquille. For someone who was self proclaimed camera shy she absolutely shone in front of the lens. There is something about standing amongst a beautiful natural ancient place that calms the soul and unearths the goddess within...
