Heidi & Nat

kohinur hall, northern rivers nsw

Heidi and Nat's love fest was actually the first wedding I had the pleasure of capturing in the Northern Rivers area when I moved here and it was just so. so. so. beautiful.

A gathering of free spirited souls and their wildlings, surrounded by rainforest and luscious mountains.

The guests arrived to Kohinur Hall early and arranged the stunning explosion of colour that was their floral mandala. It was a ceremony of musical delights...Heidi and Nat were welcomed into the ceremony to the sound of their friends drumming and then were blessed by another friend playing the didgeridoo. The ceremony was completed with a surprise song from the women of Heidi's mama's circle.

The celebrations flowed soft and sweet into the evening with a picnic style buffet, hula hooping, much hugging and singing as well as a bagpipe performance from Heidi's father.
